So to recap, I paid £7 for initial delivery of a set of trugs then chose to immediately return as they did not fit my needs (too large). I then also paid to ship the returned items back in the original (and clearly previously USED as evidenced by the multiple tape layers on the cardboard) box and RainbowTrugs.com is still deducting another bogus £10 “direct costs.” What it could possibly have cost them is beyond reasoning since I paid for shipping both ways. £17 for chucking some plastic tubs in a used box and taping it closed. How cheeky. I’d like to earn £10 for doing less than a minute of work. Instead of engaging in shipping scams and punishing customers with fees for obviously bogus costs, why doesn’t this retailer just tell the honest truth and let customers know it’s not worth their money to send anything back? Or better yet, just say they do not accept returns. That at least would be reputable and respectable. Avoid buying from this seller. They only put up 5-star reviews on their own website and refuse to let dissatisfied customers post reviews. Another scam to avoid accountability.
