I was lucky enough to get onto the ‘Test Pilot’ event taking place on Rapa Nui (Easter Island) in May 24. We were a small team of runners (all of whom were absolutely lovely) and under the watchful eye of James and Jim from Rat Race plus the super talented James A behind the camera, took in the most beautiful parts of the island on foot. The itinerary was well thought out meaning we got a well balanced mix of local culture and history, combined with enough running to ensure I slept for 90% of a 14hr flight home. Rat Race is a company with morals and ethics at the forefront of what they do. They have a shed load of experience and expertise, but they are also incredibly mindful of the environments they operate in and seemingly create great relationships wherever they go.
