You MUST do the Easter Isle (Rapa Nui) adventure as soon as it is available. Picture this, you travel to the most remote, inhabited island in the world. It’s so small that its land mass is 1% the size of the Hawaiian islands. But that also means, you can cover almost the entire island through trekking and running tours, ducking into caves, eating fruit right off the trees, and seeing all the major Moai sculpture sites and many not often seen. Then on top of it you get two half marathons and an ultra marathon to test your grit. My favorite moment? Hard to say but maybe running and diving into the ocean after a 16 mile trek.
