Awesome experience on Outer Hebrides Tip to Toe!This is a remote set of islands off West Coast of Scotland -- we cycled, hiked, ran and kayaked in beautiful surroundings. It was hard physically -- we didn't sign up for it to be easy ;-). Did things go wrong? Yes. Buses broke down, twice. Accommodations on one night was rough (but roughing it is part of the deal, no problem). There were a couple medical issues. That's adventure. S**t happens. The team handled it well, the crew medic patched up cuts and bruises and we all did a bit of "impromptu group therapy" to patch up hurt souls... Things that would be easy to fix in the future... Food was plentiful and had a lot of calories to replace what we burned -- but monotonous. If you're looking for a "foodie adventure" this is not it. There was a safety hazard on the course that should be marked (and ideally a team member stationed there to help).
