Absolutely incredible adventure! The Guatemala Sea to Summit by RatRace is not to be underestimated. While the distances are ”not RatRace”, the heat saps your energy and makes this adventure a fight with your body and mind. The journey takes you through UNESCO sites, sugar cane plantations, and beautiful rural villages.The views, people, and countryside create an assault on the senses, yet it's wonderfully tranquil. The hardest part was the final 150m ascent of Volcan Tajumulco. Each step is grueling, but standing at the top, with the world at your feet, is unbeatable.This event is a physical, mental, and practical test. It's one of the best things I've done. If you're up for a challenge that combines stunning landscapes, and cultural immersion, this is it.
