I have been using TTRS with several of my OT school aged patients with learning disabilities. They are demonstrating good progress with reading and typing and are very motivated to use it (several ask to use it whenever they come to a session). Besides the benefit from learning to read, spell, and touch type, we are using it as a means to improve bilateral integration, finger isolation, visual scanning, visual tracking, auditory processing, self-regulation/frustration tolerance, and visual motor integration. I like the order of learning the letters (working towards writing actual words) rather than other programs that do all the homerow keys and make nonsense words.
