Nothing but red flags from the start

Nothing but red flags from the start. Was recommended to this company by my Va. After my experience I wouldn’t recommended them to anyone. Stay away. Far far away. 1) The demo call was weird. Guy didn’t turn on his cam. Would’ve been more personable. No one likes to talk into a black void. 2) Couldn’t try the software before purchase, because no trail period. Asked about assistance with setup and onboarding. Was told I would get a webinar link to be shown. Asked if I can get that beforehand make sure I’m comfortable with the system and purchase. Told no it’s proprietary information and tool….we built it from the ground up. So what??? Is everyone other company just copying each other??You want me to pay $200 a month without any ramp up time or testing out the features…another red flag. 3) Asked about the pricing and the difference between 150 and 200. Only real difference is the number of lines you get. Which are suppose to be fresh and reduce spam likely calls. Asked how well that actually works told it works but will still get the spam likely results….After purchase: Va and I run a test since all calls were going to voicemail. Called my phone with a fresh number and it was spam risk. On the 1st call great! So much for number health. They charge $5 a line then a monthly maintenance on the basic plan, which they say at this point their clients go with 200 plan. Who wouldn’t with the cost of $5 a line!!! I asked how many people can use the license. It’s one license one seat. I assumed with the multiple numbers and lines more than one can use it. Not the case which is fine if industry standard. As a manager to listen in to calls or barge in gotta have a separate license. Asked when do you get a break in pricing. 10 licenses or more than you get dedicated support. Cool gotta spend 2k a month to get a deal and real support. 4) Account manager is the busiest person in the world. Tried to reach out with concerns and set up before paying. No idea what the next steps were after the demo. To his credit that’s the only time he reached out immediately. Unfortunately couldn’t talk because I work a 9-5 job, in sales mind you. Said would give me a call back in 2 hours never did. So I paid regardless needed to get it set up so my Va can make the calls. Why keep dragging our feet. My mistake I should’ve just waited. Once we paid the switch flips. What was mediocre service turned into trash service. Va couldn’t make calls on day 1. Had to get in with tech support which was able to help her. Which is great! Company not all bad. When you try to reach out to the number they call you from it doesn’t work!!! They used their own dialer which is weird. Never know who is calling. Sometimes it says ready mode or other times some city in Cali. Asked my account manger for his direct line wouldn’t give it to me. Had to ask multiple times. When he finally does his response is I’m busy I have meetings. Let me know ahead of time. Not the 1st time he lets me know he’s busy. I get it. I tell him I’m trying to work with you here asked for the office hours since he’s busy but if you’re too busy get me a new manager. Keep your commission I just need assistance. He sends me tech supports hours. At this point I’m done both with the company and account manager. For such a short period of time it was awful. Hopefully this cautionary story helps. Don’t know if I’m asking for too much from an account manager. I use to be one and get the everyday struggles of it but jeez. Never seen a person who couldn’t care less about new accounts. Guess it’s a number game for them. Get as many sign ups take the initial cash. If people fall out who cares. And the ones that stay are your cash cows. Just my feelings on it. Anyways going to drop them and try out a few options with trial periods. There are cheaper options out there. Usually don’t go for the cheapest because you get what you pay for, however I didn’t get much for what I paid. Nothing but headaches and emails saying check the links if you’re a self starter…
