This has been an incredibly stressful experience. I placed my order on 22nd Nov, expecting delivery within 1-2 weeks. Three weeks later, I had yet to receive any updates. Upon contacting the support team, I was informed that they were waiting for stock, which would arrive by 15th Dec. I later received a message claiming delivery would happen on 23rd Dec. However, on delivery day, I was notified that it was canceled due to 'unforeseen circumstances'—which felt like an excuse, especially with Christmas approaching and my delivery scheduled for late afternoon. With just two days before Christmas, I was left without a dining table for family gatherings. I was promised delivery the next day, and while the delivery did happen, I received the bench I ordered but a completely different table that was £200 cheaper and not the right size. I had ordered an extending table but got a solid top instead. The stress leading up to Christmas could have been avoided had they delivered within the promised timeframe. The collection of the incorrect table and delivery of the correct one occurred just after New Year. The delivery driver insisted on a signature before even verifying the correct item, which my husband rightfully refused. Although I now have the right table, I'm not fully satisfied with it. The bench has tight, sealed wood, but the table slats have gaps that will likely collect food and liquids, making it unhygienic. I requested compensation for the undue stress during the busy Christmas period, asking for a reasonable 20% refund. I was offered £20, then £40, which felt inadequate given the situation and the price paid. I reluctantly accepted this as they wouldn't meet my reasonable request. I doubt the table will last 'years' as claimed on the website. They should consider using a more reliable delivery service, as there are no tracking options with the current provider unlike other companies.
