Successful Recovery of my daughters IPhone

As we were disembarking the Lovers Cruise Boat. My daughters phone fell into the water (canal) I could not look at her although she acted brave but the devastation was written on her face. Her school online interrupted, memories gone, no back up had been done, etc. A guilt I could not reconcile myself with. We got back to the hotel, little words said. She said to me its gone Ma there is nothing we can do. I sat on the bed, I googled and reddit stories were not encouraging. I came across this one story…the website of the private divers Recovery Divers. I started chatting to the person who responded. He (Jochem) promised to do his best to find me a diver. The diving could only be done at night after obtaining the permit from the police. He got back to me after an hour and told me he could not find any diver available. Moving it to today (Wed). I started losing hope coz another day going by, the slimmer the chances. I continued to pray for the best.I reluctantly agreed. Getting through Wed was the hardest.Early afternoon I had received a message that the divers were cleared for 21:30. At about 20:15 we went to the meeting spot. They at 20:45 said they had arrived with their equipment.We went up to them and directed them to the spot where she disembarked. The canal is huge, long, deep abt 4 to 7mtrs, muddy & its at night. All the odds are against us. Reducing the chances of recovery. Philip and Marja, the most amazing souls. Conducted a successful search coz at 22:20 they had found the phone. I wanted to hug the muddy & wet Philip. I was so grateful for such a professional team who knew what they were doing.Thank you Jochem, Marja and Phillip10/10 minus nothing.
