Hello, Today I got a test done. The concerned person collected blood and urine.A few mistakes made by him can lead to errors in the sample or can be a risk to patients life.1) person collecting the sample didn't sanitize his hands nor used the gloves given in packet before piercing the needle.2) the vials were placed on my bed, but they should be carefully placed on a tray to avoid pathogen contact.3) the sample was just carried in a bag, he did not have a cold storage box, this leads to early degradation of the sample.I cannot mention the name of person who collected my sample, as it could be a risk to his job. Rather, Redcliffe labs can take an action on all departments and scrutinize for cleanliness, hygiene and accuracy.Looking forward to strict actions.Thank you.
