The stethoscope I ordered is currently on back order from the manufacturer. Amy left me a voicemail offering to order me my stethoscope in another color that is in stock. I specified that I wanted the burgundy Littman Cardiology IV in champagne finish. Apparently there was some confusion ON HER PART when I asked about the finish of the champagne chest piece possibly showing fingerprints. Anyway, I received a burgundy Littman Cardiology IV stethoscope with MIRROR finish instead of champagne. I was told this problem would be rectified after the manager reviewed our phone call recording to confirm the mistake. He told me that since the item was engraved and since they don’t make a lot of money on these items it is usually non-refundable. That was Thursday of last week. He told me I would hear from him by Friday and it’s now Tuesday and I still have not been contacted. I’m very disappointed because I have spent over $200 for an item I didn’t want and this company has not stood by their word. I’m tempted to also contact the Maryland Better Business Bureau as well as Littman to let them now how their distributors are treating customers. Maybe then I will become a priority.
