Gabe is the CARS master. He knows everything about the CARS section inside and out. CARS is a tough section and it is really hard to figure out the best way to approach it. Even if you are innately a good reader, the CARS section still requires meticulous work and practice to master the AAMC's logic. Without Gabe, I would have wasted many hours practicing passages incorrectly and ultimately would have done worse on the CARS section. Gabe taught me his highly effective and proven to work strategies for both doing the passages and reviewing them, while adjusting them to fit my personal strengths and weaknesses. He is really friendly, down to earth, enthusiastic, engaging, and always supportive and comforting even when you get things wrong. He also has endless tips and thoroughly researched advice/opinions when it comes to study planning and resources. He has worked with hundreds of students and knows how to improve your score regardless of your ability. Notably, his collection of incredibly in-depth videos breaking down every question on the AAMC CARS question packs is a fantastic resource so that you are never left questioning why you got certain questions wrong (which can be a problem given that the AAMC explanations can be unclear). He knows all the AAMC CARS material so well that I could randomly ask him about any question from any passage and he will quickly be able to explain the logic behind the right answer. There was one point where the CARS section was my biggest source of stress about the MCAT, but after taking Gabe's class, I had piece of mind that I was going into the test as prepared as possible, which was a great mental boost. As a result of my tutoring with Gabe, I went from consistently getting 2-3 questions wrong per passage to rarely missing 2 or more per passage. I would highly recommend Gabe to anyone who wants CARS help.
