Completely fraudulent. They send a letter saying you risk 'losing your company name' and 'domain name, emails and insurance' if you don't renew. This is an outright lie. There is not a 'company name' - when you established your company with ASIC, you registered your company as a legal entity. The legal entity name belongs to the shareholders as long as it remains registered with ASIC via filing annual returns. The 'company name' has nothing to do with your domain name, or your emails - these are managed entirely seperately. Their website claims to be an 'ASIC Registered Agent' - this is a lie. Go to the ASIC professional registers and type in their claimed agent number 45838. It doesn't exist in the register. Type in their company name - Registration Pty Ltd. It doesn't exist. THIS IS A SCAM. ASIC needs to investigate this company for fraud. Put this shameful letter from reg.com.au in the bin. Go to your ASIC portal and check that your registration is up to date. Pay your fees directly to ASIC and you're all good.
