Absolutely no idea why John Lewis would use these guys for their repairs. I wish I'd read the reviews here before agreeing for these guys to look at my TV... yes, just look - because that's all they did. Allow me to explain.Regional Repair Centre booked me in to repair my TV - they kept pestering me and would keep calling despite me working shifts. Initially I thought it was just good customer service - how wrong I was. Anyhow, they booked the engineers in to collect my TV.When the day arrived, two men popped into the property where I was fully expecting them to take the TV away. However, the spent less than 20 seconds looking at the TV and said it needs a new wiring loom. They didn't open it up, didn't take it away - just had a quick look (didn't even touch the TV) and couldn't wait to leave. The issue with my TV has literally nothing to do with wiring. I questioned them and was given a load of stuttering waffle. They said they'd need to order the part from John Lewis and that if I didn't hear from them to 'call the office' which immediately set alarm bells ringing. Looking at other reviews I can see that people have been unable to contact these guys. A whole month has gone by and I've had no contact from then - no great surprise. I contacted John Lewis to explain the above and in their own words they said Regional Repair 'sound dodgy'. They attempted to contact Regional Repair to find out why the service has been appalling but couldn't get in touch with them either. I told them that I'd rather have someone else repair my TV as there is now way I want these guys touching my TV. John Lewis agreed with me and it's now been booked in with someone else. Unfortunately John Lewis confirmed that they've been charged a call out fee - I wonder how many other people have had this issue where they've been charged simply to take a look at an appliance. In fact, looking at other reviews, this has been happening. There is no way I can recommend this company to anyone. Ever.--------Funny that.. I'd expect nothing less from your response!! I have your very own letterheaded paperwork in my hands. Get over yourselves.
