Just bought one for my Father-in-law who was still struggling along with his FM radio. He needed better reception and simple controls due to sight loss. He is very happy he can now listen to a couple more channels which have the kind of content he wants to listen to. The unit does seem expensive for a simplified radio, but it has made his life easier.
