On August 2024 I visited this clinic with an already inflamed gum, which the doctor was fully aware of before I traveled. Before my trip, I repeatedly asked whether 8 days would be enough to properly treat the inflammation, and each time I was assured that it was more than enough. Unfortunately, this turned out not to be true.1. Hygiene concernsThe clinic requires patients to wear shoe covers, which made me believe hygiene was taken seriously. However, during my treatment the dentist used her mobile phone and then continued working in my mouth with the same gloves, which I found very concerning from a hygiene and safety perspective.On top of that, while placing the crowns, two of them fell onto the floor, which further reduced my confidence in the overall cleanliness and handling of materials.2. Handling of my gum inflammationI was promised that my inflammation would be treated during my stay. What actually happened was a single laser treatment, followed immediately by the placement of new crowns — and not in the structure I had requested. My gum then started growing around the crowns, and the inflammation worsened instead of improving.3. Quality and fit of the crownsAfter returning to my home country, several dentists examined my mouth and informed me that the crowns had sharp angles that constantly irritate the gum. This causes discomfort 24/7, and now I have to redo the entire procedure elsewhere.4. MedicationThe dentist prescribed a strong antibiotic, which did not reduce the irritation and instead made me feel unwell. It did not contribute to resolving the issue.5. Time frame and expectationsOnce back home, I learned from multiple doctors that the type of inflammation I had typically takes months to heal, not days. This means that the promise that everything could be healed within 8 days was unrealistic from the start. In the end, I paid a significant amount of money for a treatment, flight and accommodation without receiving proper treatment or resolution.Overall, my experience lacked professionalism, accuracy, and care, now I must undergo the entire treatment again in my home country.In addition to my own negative experience, one of my friends also had a consultation with this doctor. According to my friend, the doctor recommended placing at least 12 crowns and removing healthy teeth, mainly due to discoloration of 2 of them. Feeling uncertain about this advice, my friend sought a second opinion at another clinic, where the dentists opted for a more conservative approach and treated the issue without removing healthy teeth. This contrast in recommendations made us both feel uncomfortable and contributed to my concerns.Red flag - if the dentist recommends to replace your healthy teeth and place crowns instead of - RUN!
