Only I had photo proof it was there at start of rental. They would have charged me. In the November rental. When car was returned. He walked around the car at the very last moment got down on his knees. And point out a small scratch on the under side of the front Bumper. He knew what he was looking for. I had a photo which he said was not very clear. Had to go for my Fight he charged 850 euro of my Credit card. I am at present making a case to take them to Small claims court in Italy. I have insurance that will cover my loss. Which he said sure your insurance will cover it what's the problem. The problem is this practice is wide spread. And is fraud. Why is the Italian state are Tourist board doing nothing about it. You have been warned taking photos is no longer any protection against this fraud.
