I booked through Discover.com App and purchased full coverage insurance separately, but when I went to pick up the car, they forced me to purchase damage insurance separately. In exchange, the original deposit would be reduced to €250 instead of €450. I paid the €250 deposit and the damage insurance. They said the deposit would be refunded due within 20 days of returning the car, but it's been two months, and I still haven't received a refund. I emailed customer service, but they haven't responded, and I think this is a scam. I don't know how to get my money back, so I'm currently contacting Discover.com but they say they're not responsible because the deposit is paid directly to the rental car. I definitely don't recommend them.
