Joined a market research task on appliances to be held online. Was asked if could do a short pre-task before the video meeting (sent a few days prior).
Turns out the pre-task was 4+ hours long! I was not told this. I did 2 hours (fuming) and then then next day another 2 hours worth of tasks came through. This is EXCLUDING the 1 hour online session (which they also never sent a link for).
Asked to be paid for my 2 hours worth of tasks. No reply. Absolute con artists. If you want to work for free - sign up!
