I was really nervous to wear tape over my mouth: What if I couldn't get enough air? Would I panic in the middle of the night? Would my super sensitive skin react to the tape?
Fortunately Respire didn't lie - their materials really do work for sensitive skin. I've been using this tape for months now and I haven't had a reaction - and my skin reacts to a lot of things including just about all adhesives ie sticking plasters.
As to the panic or not being able to breathe well enough - I found not only was I getting enough air... I actually sleep incredibly well. Zero panicking! The material is also flexible and allows some air though - it's not a stiff, plastic, solid thing stuck to you. Respire tape is actually comfortable.
My husband and I both wore the tape and both had excellent sleeps. A bonus I didn't think about: the tape works well even with his facial hair!
One thing I would love is if the company offered different colours or even patterns to choose from.
Having this arrive on subscription is so handy! It's definitely a product I recommend and love and will continue to use.
