I ordered two small items (about $50 total) directly from Retrospec’s site instead of Amazon, where the same items come with free Prime returns. I did this intentionally to support the brand directly — but I regret that now.When I tried to return the items, they charged $12 per item for return shipping, even though they came in one box. The fee was buried in the fine print and only became apparent after starting the return process. It feels deliberately misleading and makes their “50-day returns” promise feel hollow.Bottom line: if you’re not 100% sure about sizing or fit, you’re better off ordering through Amazon. At least you’ll get a fair and free return option.
