Ribble CGR E-Carbon X Di2 Gravel Bike.
I went for Ribble as they were British, and buying local is important with all the USA trade wars. As well as their quality, plus its greener. The staff spent loads of time with me in the Clitheroe showroom before I decided to buy - answering all questions, giving their advice and opinions. They didn't do any pressure selling. They were very experienced cyclists themselves and were very impartial, just good cycling advice. They did promise me to do a proper bike fit on their equipment in store but when I came back to buy the fella said no, it's not necessary. I was a bit disappointed with that. Then there was a problem with the bike on collection - a minor omission of registration at HQ caused the bike having to be sent back. I've got it now though and it's riding brilliantly and exactly what I wanted. I trust the bike and I'm very happy with it. I hope to get many many years of use out of it and hope that its electric components (motor, battery, Di2 gears) prove to be reliable over a period of years. that's what is important to me and only time will tell.
