I have been looking for a set of 4 dining chairs for a few years now and I just found the perfect set in Richard F Mackay. However, I was not allowed to buy them. I am absolutely gutted, but more than that I am amazed! The reason I was given is that the Manager “already has two dining tables without chairs, so has paired these chairs with this table and will not sell them separately”. These chairs do not go well with the table they have been paired with. They would go perfectly with the table I have at home and with the colour of my other dining furniture and the walls. But I can’t have them, because the Manager doesn’t want to sell them without a table they don’t actually look good with!!! You are a furniture shop! If you have tables without suitable chairs, then order some suitable chairs! If you have a customer who wants to buy your chairs and you are in the business of selling furniture, sell the chairs! Unbelievable. And I am so so so disappointed. And very cross.
