We spent two weeks in Southern India with Rickshaw in February. This was our second time travelling with them after an amazing trip to Indonesia in March 2025. As we hoped, this one didn’t disappoint either.
From the moment you get in contact, you are contacted by a travel expert for the region you’re interested in. From this point on you feel at ease knowing that they have seen these places for real, and they can really recommend places to stay, activities etc that are tailored to your personal requirements, whether that based on interest, physicality , a relaxed pace or whatever. All the way through you are given choices and information to make informed decisions about flights, departure times, climate etc , but with no pressure to get it booked. They really take the time to ensure the trip is perfect for you before you commit, and if it’s not, they will tweak it again until it is !
Once you are there, you always feel that Rickshaw, and more importantly their local travel partners are there at the end of a WhatsApp message to clarify pickup times, alter schedules to suit where possible to give you the flexibility to enjoy your trip your way.
As always even the basic level of accommodation package gives you some amazing places to stay. If you want to keep it simple you can, but safe in the knowledge it will always be clean, safe and comfortable. Some of the places we stayed were breathtakingly beautiful and we wouldn’t have chosen anywhere different anyway !
David was our travel expert for this trip , and in true Rickshaw style he was friendly, helpful, patient and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the trip and took great care to ensure it was what we wanted. Big thanks to David for such a lovely trip..
Big decision now is where to next…but the decision as to who we will travel with will be a very easy one.
