I have two outside-facing units in the Rite Space Storage facility on Caldwell Drive in Amherst, New Hampshire. On Tuesday the 28th, I went there to drop off some items in my unit, #347. Discovered that all of the units on the north (back) side of building are sealed shut by a mass of ice along the bottom of the doors. The ice extended on to the access road was so slick on the access road that I could not approach the unit door safely. I went to the office and told the man on duty about the problem and asked what he could do about it. He said that because that side of the building was shaded by trees, the ice didn't melt. Made reference to possibly putting some salt down later. I phoned him today (the 30th) and asked if the ice had been removed. He said he had been trying to use salt but could not keep up with refreezing This is unacceptable. RightSpace Storage needs to send a crew to clear out the ice...one person cannot do it, since it affects at least 20-30 units. Very unhappy with lack of remediation
