Car insurance pruchased through Go.Compare. New 26 Reg car but I had inadvertently input March 2023 as the purchase date. I was collecting the car on 23rd March 2026! Initial documents issued then informed that there would be an additional £50+ charge to change the date of purchase. Even although I hadn't actually taken ownership of the car. Extremely unhappy. No choice but to pay as I was collecting the car within the hour. Not a happy bunny at all. No compromise or understanding for a genuine input error. Sales person did handle my extreme annoyance very well.
