My son who is 13 years old recently began 7th grade at College Achieve in Paterson and is a part of the Program. Due to bullying issues at his previous school, I had to homeschool him for six months, therefore it has been a transition attending a new school, but he has been working with Ms. Sandra Casillas from RLRG and she has been instrumental in helping him to adjust to a new environment with other students and has tremendously helped my son develop skills to empower him with his social and emotional abilities to continue to prosper with his schoolwork and fellow peers. My son feels extremely comfortable with Ms. Casillas and I am grateful for her work with him in helping him transition to a new school. I would highly recommend Ms. Casillas, she has done an excellent job with all the students at College Achieve. Thank you all the hard work and dedication from Ms. Casillas and the Robinson Lloyd Resiliency Group.

At RLRG, we empower students and children to thrive emotionally, socially, and academically through our evidenced-based, innovative programs that uses cognitive behavioral therapy. Our approach focuses on helping children develop better emotional self-control, equipping them with tools to understand and manage their emotions effectively. Parents can expect fewer meltdowns and more meaningful, calm conversations as their child learns how to express feelings appropriately.
We also foster improved problem-solving skills both at home and in school. By teaching techniques like reframing challenges and planning ahead, children become more independent and confident in resolving everyday conflicts, easing parental stress and building self-reliance. Whether it’s handling schoolwork, friendships, or family dynamics, our program helps children navigate life with confidence.
Additionally, we focus on boosting confidence and resilience. Children in our program learn to overcome obstacles with a sense of pride, developing a “can-do” attitude that extends beyond the classroom.
