Utterly amazed. I knew from research and reviews that Richard Freeman had a reputation as the man to go to when faced with road traffic offences but you never truly believe that you will get to be one of those people writing a review with a happy ending too. After being arrested in my car with two charges; possession and drug driving, I was facing a criminal record, a long driving ban and a big fine which would have lead to other work consequences. I thought I had no chance of being acquitted and was resigned to just pleading guilty to get it over with. Richard looked at the case and immediately spotted multiple reasons as to why we should submit a not guilty plea with ‘no case to answer’. Hiring Richard to represent me in court was one of the single best decisions I’ve ever made. Obviously, the best part was walking out of court today after being fully acquitted. However, what was really amazing was witnessing his abilities in the court room that led to the acquittal. It was quite something to hear his sheer knowledge of the law, the articulation and his years of experience. I remember thinking, “well, if this guy can’t get us the result we want, no one can”. Richard is truly “Mr Technicality”, but he’s also a really great guy and I don’t know how I can ever repay him fully for giving me my life back against the odds. Thank you.
