An appalling service. The lawyer I was given didn't even make the most cursory attempt to raise a defence and did nothing constructive to cross examine the prosecution witnesses. Save your money because these people won't do anything more for you than the most inexperienced legal aid lawyer.Richard Freeman and Co have squealed like a stuck pig since I posted this review trying multiple times to get it blocked. Several times they've suggested it can't possibly be a review about them because they're so perfect so I must be so stupid I posted a review about the wrong company. I've had to refute this several times and eventually scan some correspondence with them to prove I was actually one of their clients. No doubt now the review has been reinstated they'll try to get it deleted again. If they had expended a fraction of the energy on my case they've used in trying to get this review deleted maybe I'd have been acquitted of something I was innocent of all along. The problem I had was in ending up with their absolute worst lawyer, Jim Eodanable, who has no clue how to go about cross examination and ignored all the information I gave him before the trial which would have made sure he could have broken the witnesses fabricated story. To be fair I think Richard himself is pretty competent and if there is a legal loophole in your case he might well spot it but if it goes to trial and needs a good advocate to cross examine for you then make damn sure you don't get dopey Jim. He used to be a prosecutor and I think at heart he still is. In my case he seemed to side more with the police than he did with me. That's hardly going to fill you with confidence he'll help your case. I actually think he made mine worse. I'd have been better off with a chimp or just doing it myself. At one point he said "why would the police lie?". OMG. Naive? Fool or just police apologist?
