I truly appreciated my visit to the Food and Agriculture Organization in Rome alongside fellow students from a business school. Touring the headquarters with peers from the food and beverage management and human resource management programs was fascinating. The modern museum offered valuable insights into the organization's history and explored important issues related to food and sustainability. Our tour guide was friendly and approachable, addressing all our inquiries and showcasing significant areas such as the conference room where important meetings are held.
The presentation was truly engaging. Gaining insights from real industry experiences and practical applications enhanced my understanding of how cultural institutions handle communication and audience development. The speaker discussed various challenges and achievements, making the field feel much more approachable for us as students.
I completed a master's program at a certain institution, expecting the qualification to hold administrative value in Italy. However, when I submitted my application to the Immigration Office for a residence permit conversion, I learned that the degree from this institution is NOT recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education. This has created a serious issue: my application was misclassified, and I now face a potential refusal due to the diploma lacking official legal value for administrative processes in Italy. At no point during my studies was it made clear that this institution is not recognized and that the diploma cannot be used for official purposes like residence permit conversion. I strongly recommend that future students—especially those from abroad—thoroughly research this aspect before enrolling. Transparency is vital, and my experience has been incredibly stressful and disappointing due to this lack of clarity.
