Terrible product. The interface feels at least 15 years out of date—I wasn’t expecting gamification-style bells and whistles, but the activities are very repetitive and don’t seem to address different ways to learn. Everything loads really slowly so your learning will be interrupted repeatedly. That lack of flow turns every lesson into rote memorization because the interface hinders making connections or seeing patterns in the language. Every time you start a session, you have to recalibrate your microphone. And looking ahead at the most advanced lessons, the level you’ll reach is not more than very rudimentary. It’s all very discouraging.
