I set up 3 pensions for my children. For one child they stopped taking the monthly money. When I investigated why it was apparently as they required a National Insurance number,( sad they didn't provide care of the account and let us know they wanted one when he reached a certain age), and even when that N I number was provided to them they didn't update and start taking his monthly contributions again. Now his pension is 33% down on the other 2 children's pensions. The only way I managed to add my son back on to his pension was by moving to a different provider, who have been much more helpful. When I raised a complaint Royal London never came back to me. So, in my experience they have no customer service department and so personally I feel the best thing I did was to take the 3 pensions elsewhere, away from Royal London.
