Many interesting pieces here on Rubylane, it’s like walking into the what’s left of the antique shops where everything is old and over priced. I happen to find an earlier miniature dollhouse piece of furniture that the seller knocked off 5.00 to make it more affordable and more at its worth. Unfortunately the item arrived with a splintered off broken leg. I think it’s difficult getting your money refunded and just as difficult returning an item here on Rubylane. I am not happy with their return policy nor the fact that you cannot send the seller any photos of your damaged purchase . I contacted the seller to ask for a refund or discount to which she replied “ how much of a discount and can it be fixed?” As a seller I felt that was a question she should answer and as far as can it be fixed? well I did not purchase a broken item with the description “ a piece for you to fix” I really do not like shopping on Rubylane as my past purchases have had a few problems but after a long absence I thought “why not” now I see why not and will not be returning.
