The gloves aren't awful; they fit well, but they definitely don't match what was shown in the advertisement I clicked on. They are not Kevlar, not genuine leather, and certainly not heat resistant to 1300 °. As a plumber, I bought these for brazing pipes, and I've already burned at least three holes in them in under a week.
