The workmen who arrived were very friendly and understood the perhaps slightly complicated setup straight away and weren't fazed, they got straight to work. The work was completed promptly, and they asked me questions as they arose. They arrived a little later than expected, but this wasn't an issue, and they communicated this change of plans in plenty of time.
