I spent 30 minutes on the phone with their representative trying to set up a simple windshield chip repair. I sat in my car for 30 minutes giving then my insurance info, email, and other personal info that I don't think they really need. Long-story short, they put me on hold while they called the insurance company and then conferenced us together. I couldn't understand either the safelite rep or the insurance rep and they couldn't work out how to proceed. After 30 minutes I said to hell with it and hung up. Called a different company the next day, they called my insurance company and called me back and said "we are all set.". Took less than 2 minutes of my time. Safelite must be hiring really low IQ people who don't know what they are doing. Very courteous but that doesn't excuse incompetence.
