Recently used their services for a cross country move. Previously used SafeShip in the past and had a great experience. Pickup went great and had a really positive interaction, the communication & efficiency was great and they were very quick. Now the delivery is where it went awfully wrong…they showed up in an 18 wheeler to a townhome community which obviously wouldn’t fit (on pickup they showed up with a regular truck so i ASSUMED it would be the same vehicle) on delivery he tried to charge me $500 to pay for a U-haul to transfer my things over to that from the semi. There was only ONE guy that showed up to my delivery. No one to help him. Luckily my brother was here but he literally had to follow this guy and help him load/unload from the 18 wheeler into the u-haul and help carry my things into my own home. $6,000 for that service!?! Absolutely not. The guy also tried to charge me $75 PER STAIR to take my things upstairs. I said screw it I’ll carry it myself!!! Also he told me I had to remove all moving blankets from everything and give them back while he unloaded my things. He did not set my bedframe up (which was part of the service i paid for) he threw every box and piece of furniture in the main living area and left!!! I also just called customer service and told them what happened and their response was “Is that all? Thank you for calling and have a nice day” I’m very upset by that. I’m glad I got all my belongings, just disappointed in the service I received and was totally not worth the money. Will look elsewhere if I need to move again.
