If there were a way to leave zero stars, that’s what I would choose. My mother has endured a terrible experience with the service and the freight companies they employ to move her items from one state to another. Initially, they promised delivery in just 10 days, but it took nearly 30 days instead. Additionally, the representatives we interacted with were incredibly rude and unprofessional.
On Christmas Eve, they informed us that her belongings would arrive the next day—on Christmas. However, when the movers showed up, they demanded payment upfront before unloading anything. We weren’t even allowed to check for damage before paying. After hours of back and forth on Christmas Day, we had no option but to pay just to have her belongings unloaded.
Once we started unpacking, we found that the storage facility had a mouse infestation. Her clothes, bins, Tupperware, hair dryers, chargers—everything was damaged. She had never encountered a mouse issue in her previous home, and none of this damage was present when her items were loaded.
To add insult to injury, the company later offered her $600 off and several gift card giveaways to persuade her to remove her negative review. Instead of addressing the significant damage and their unprofessional behavior, they tried to silence her with money.
I truly hope that the representatives involved are held accountable for their incompetence and lack of basic decency.
