My experience with Sanctuary Housing has been disappointing due to ongoing issues with their service and communication. On several occasions, my complaints were lost or mishandled, which seemed to reflect wider organisational problems.Just before Christmas, some of my parcels went missing but were later found and returned quickly after I contacted the security company. One parcel arrived damaged and was signed for by the concierge using my name, which was confirmed during an external review. I have also felt uncomfortable with the concierge’s behaviour at reception—specifically, repeated staring and intimidation—after I raised concerns about the parcel issue.After raising these concerns with the concierge’s agency, a difficult situation arose that has yet to be resolved.The housing officer responsible for my building sometimes seemed to downplay the importance of my reasonable adjustments, making it harder to get the support I need.I have also had serious concerns about how my personal data was handled, including:My Subject Access Request being mistakenly sent to other residents,My bank details being shared externally without my permission,Receiving parts of another resident’s lease when requesting information about my service charges.I have recently escalated the matter to the Housing Ombudsman, and they have been helpful so far.This review reflects my own experience and is intended to provide honest feedback for others considering Sanctuary Housing.
