We instructed Sargeants on our house sale in the summer of 2022. Having spoken with several local agents, Dean’s knowledge of the local market as well as his professional, reassuring (and not too pushy) approach was in stark contrast to others we had spoken with and this was the key factor in our decision to go with Sargeants. Although the commission was slightly higher than what others had put forward, we felt it was worth the extra investment. Dean’s valuation and tactical advice at the outset was spot on and ultimately resulted in an overwhelming level of interest. Soraya took the lead on the practical aspects, arranging viewings and liaising with potential buyers. Given we had over 40 viewings the process was managed very well. The sale process had its moments but Soraya was great throughout and on top of it at all times, keeping things moving and liaising with the solicitors and the buyers regularly. Dean was always on hand for extra support if required as there were a few tense moments, which we greatly appreciated and again the tactical advice was spot on. The sales team was great to deal with and we never questioned our decision to go with Sargeants. It is also worth mentioning that we were selling and moving into a rental. Luckily we managed to secure a rental through Sargeants and Aston (along with Gary and others) was fantastic in managing that process and liaising with the sales team to make sure the rental and sales process ran in parallel so that we could sign the AST and exchange on our sale simultaneously. It’s clear the Sargeants team follow Dean’s lead on remaining calm and professional throughout, following up as required but not being too pushy, qualities demonstrated by Soraya and Aston.We very much hope our next house purchase is also through Sargeants.
