Saris and Things in Plainfield, IL gave me one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a retail shopping experience. Nowadays many people want the quick and dirty and cheaper method of going through Amazon. But I think many people recognize there is no customer service, there is no human connection, and that is purely a transaction. When you go in person for retail shopping, you get a combination of reassurance of quality, proper fitting, and advice/help on picking the best outfit for the occasion. I got all of that in spades at Saris and Things. As you can imagine I was looking for the right outfit for an Indian wedding and I had limited knowledge on what to buy. They have a website option but I was not sure about the sizing of everything. Not only did they help me mix and match sizes, they made sure I felt comfortable finding the right color combination for me after I told them I likely want something blue. They explained the differences to me and the woman I worked with was extremely nice and thoughtful in her recommendations on how I should put the outfit together.
