The construction of this product seems to be good and solid. The suction of the pump seems to be strong. Is it strong enough to do what it says it will do? I don’t know, I have not tried to use this on myself in any serious way. While I wait for that unfortunate day to happen I have one concern… given that it is something that we all hope we never have to use… I have a concern about the rubber O-rings deteriorating over years of idleness and not working as they should when the critical time comes to use it. Same with the air inflated mask, and its ability to provide an adequate seal after years of idleness. Either way, it remains better than nothing. Even with degraded O-rings it might provide enough suction to do the job. So I have a little piece of mind having it around.
