As I have been following the carbon credit community of Sylvera, I have a critical eye for businesses claiming their ability to measure sequestered carbon. From Chris Lang of the REDD Monitor I have learned that Sylvera is not capable of evaluating their member organizations as they claim. The Savimbo paradigm of relying on ancient time tested indigenous wisdom for establishing biodiversity credits, or even carbon credit ratings is superior to the superficial extrapolations that the Sylvera community count on.
