I ordered the Shijie STE HSS Standard with Stainless Steel frets. The quality of the product is almost unbelievable. I don't want to use the word 'flawless' as it can sometimes be thrown about, but I literally cannot find a single flaw. It is quite easily the best instrument I have ever played. I could not be more happy with the guitar.Experience was not without a little disappointment, but overall it was extremely positive. I ordered the guitar in early November and the lead time was to be 2 weeks. In the end the guitar took just over 11 weeks to arrive. I am more than willing to accept that we are in exceptional times [COVID] and that part of the delay may have been due to slow down in production over the Christmas period. However, I believe that I would have had a better customer experience if more realistic expectations had been set from the start and there had been more proactive communication without me having to continually seek updates. I even explicitly stated that I was not in a hurry to receive the product, I feel this should have been enough to put the seller at ease and allow them to give a more realistic timescale. Despite a few small negatives, I have given a 5 star rating for two main reasons; the product is absolutely fantastic and I believe that the main source of the negative aspect of the purchase was due to Shijie rather than SC Guitars.I'll end by just again re-iterating how good this guitar is. It's incredible; if you're in any doubt about buying one, buy it. You'll not be disappointed.
