Schnauber recently replaced all eight original sash windows in our small 120-year-old Victorian terrace house in the Romsey area of Cambridge. They did an excellent job, and I highly recommend them. Schnauber’s price was probably slightly above average. However, their initial efficiency and organization, and having seen their product and their installation team’s work on a neighbour’s house, lead us to choose Schnauber’s quote over others. This was a very good decision. The windows were manufactured in Germany faster than predicted, but installation was scheduled to suit our convenience. The installation team were excellent. The installation took eight days, as originally estimated, plus a one-day Sunday break. This may seem a long time, but it was due to the installation team’s real attention to detail and their determination to make everything good to a very high standard. The work making good external brickwork/windowsills and internal plaster/painting was way beyond our expectations. In summary, Schnauber provided a really excellent product, installed by a team of highly skilled craftsmen, who took a pride in the product, doing a first-class job and caring for the client’s property and belongings. The whole experience and the final result were well-worth a slightly above average price. I would certainly use Schnauber again.
