Not offered travel expenses for Covid vaccination after trains cancelled

Trains home were cancelled leaving me and a child in the 26 degree train station for at least the next two hours. No replacement service offered. A public bus would have taken over 90 minutes. Both options meant I would miss my Covid vaccination appointment so a taxi was the only option at £60. ScotRail refused to pay that back. Guess they would have preferred me to go unvaccinated.
