I strongly advise against using this service. I recently bid on a property that was described positively by the auctioneer during a live video. However, the property turned out to be mostly empty and in a nearly derelict condition. I believe the auction description and the auctioneer's comments were misleading. When I sought to cancel the transaction, the company insisted I proceed with the purchase. I felt deceived by how they represented the property. Additionally, they refused to contact the seller on my behalf to mutually cancel the deal and focused instead on extracting more money from me for a misrepresented purchase. They charged £2000 to my card for registration, and the buyer fee was £1800, yet they claimed the buyer fee was still outstanding because the £2000 was applied as a deposit for a purchase that should have been canceled. While I understand I've forfeited the buyer fee by bidding, it feels deceitful that they are using the £2000 towards the deposit instead of the buyer fee. I want the transaction canceled, and the company should be more honest about the properties they sell before relisting them.
