Really good trip to Germany to watch BMG vs Eintract Frankfurt . The atmosphere in the ground was 10/10 . Hotel was in Dusseldorf which is far busier than Mönchengladbach . It was basic and near the station which was handy but not much else nearby . A few stops on the train (5-10 mins) and we were in the more touristy area called Alt Stadt which was brilliant and like one huge German market . My advice would be to check train times on matchdays and make sure to get to the ground in plenty of time .German fans are amazing and they really looked after us making sure we knew where we going at all times. They were all very interested in our clubs and leagues . The bars along the river in Düsseldorf were really good on the Sunday with football on all day . Brilliant trip and would love to do do it again and try another country . Maybe send us somewhere warmer next time 😁.
