I was informed by a representative from the company that they would provide quotes from various providers. Initially, our conversation seemed fine, as he mentioned he was from California and discussed an approaching storm while asking about my life in Alabama. However, the tone shifted when he learned my husband was a former military member, and it worsened when he found out about my husband's background in law enforcement. He seemed confused about how my husband could retire at a young age, despite explaining that he served for 20 years. The situation escalated when I mentioned my husband's disability, leading to unnecessary inquiries about our finances, which felt invasive. His attitude became increasingly negative, particularly when discussing my husband's medications and our eligibility for life insurance. He bluntly stated that my husband wouldn't qualify for any policy due to his Social Security disability, which seemed irrelevant to the situation. I expressed my own disability, but he dismissed it as well. The service provided by this company is unacceptable, and I plan to share my experience widely to warn others against engaging with them. I've already expressed my frustrations on social media and will continue to do so. Additionally, I was made aware that our conversation was being recorded.
