My bills increased significantly over a period of time, there was no change to our water usage during that time.I was advised to perform a tap test, however this wasn't possible as the meter on the pathway was not visible to check the reading. We had a damp inspection on our property, this identified a leak, although the engineer was unable to locate it.We were moving from the property so I requested copy bills so I could make payment for the correct/usual usage, this was over 18 months ago, to date I still await those bills.Recently I received a call from the SES Water Collections Department, they chap I spoke to was dismissive and rude, and basically threatened legal action for non-payment.They can no longer access their recorded calls, so therefore have no belief in my challenges with them.I know they will pass the account for collection, from this I will have to pay the £3,600if feel this is unfair and unjust.SES Water Complaint Reference 76301681Please review.
